What exactly does the client see in Partner Mode?

Curious what your client's dashboard looks like? Partner Mode gives clients a clean, focused view of shared tasks — with no access to your internal work or billing.

When a client logs into Chik, they land in Partner Mode — a simplified, distraction-free dashboard designed specifically for them. Here's a clear breakdown of what they can and can't see.

What clients CAN see

  • Tasks assigned to them: Any task or subtask you've explicitly assigned to your client. They can view task details, track progress, leave comments, and upload files.
  • Contract links: If you've sent them a contract, they'll have access to review and sign it.
  • Time reports: If you've shared a report link with them, they can view your billable hours breakdown.

What clients CANNOT see

  • Any tasks or subtasks that haven't been assigned to them — your internal drafts and work-in-progress stay completely private.
  • Your billing details, invoices, or subscription information.
  • Team members or other clients in your workspace.
  • Chik+ upgrade prompts or any admin controls.
  • Your Notes, unless you share a note via its public link.

What does it look like for them?

From their perspective, it looks like a clean client portal built just for them — not a shared workspace full of someone else's business tools. That's intentional. The goal is zero onboarding friction: they log in and immediately know what to do.
