Week three brought some bug fixes, and major workflow improvements.

• Seamless client invitations: Inviting clients no longer forces them to create an account with Chik. Simply enter their email and company name, and they'll receive an access link to their inbox.
• Reworked mobile experience: Up until recently the mobile experience felt a bit cramped and wasn't making the best of screen space, that's now fixed.
• Better post-upgrade flow: After upgrading to Chik+ some users were unable to access their account because the flow was confusing, this is now much improved and clear.
• Better filters: You'll notice tasks, time tracker, and contracts filters now take up much less space and also persist between page navigation.
• Minor UX improvements: Parent task now displays the number of subtasks, and better error states.

This week has brought a lot of quality-of-life updates to Chik, the highlights:

• Better note sharing: The previous UI for shared notes were... let's say opinionated. We've toned it back to be more similar to what you'd expect from a regular Google Doc or similar.
• Copy notes as HTML or markdown: With LLMs doing the brunt of everyone's work, markdown is becoming increasingly important. You can now copy note content as both html and markdown with the click of a button.
• Standardised text editor experience: We've standardised the UI for text editing between contracts and notes. Because muscle memory matters.
• Bug fixes: We're always working to squash bugs as soon as we become aware of them.

Second week since launch and we're hard at work polishing, improving, and building new features. This week we've published:

• Better text editing: We've restyled the text editor used for notes, contracts, and task descriptions to be more similar to what you'd expect in a regular document editor. Easier on the eyes, and a breeze to use.
• Get help fast: You'll find two new links in the left side navigation menu; "Submit a bug" and "Help center".
• Self-delete account: You can now delete your own account and all associated data directly from your profile settings. Careful though, there's no going back once deleted!
• Mobile overhaul: We completely reworked the mobile navigation experience from the ground up, giving you quicker access to all the tools you need. Less clicking, more work.

First launch week completed! We've seen big improvements recently, some visual and some backend upgrades.

• Workflow & visual improvements: Create subtasks from main task list view, see which parent a subtask belongs if not already open, and minor bug fixes.
• Improved text editing: The text editor now features an inline bubble menu when you select text.
• Reworked onboarding: Onboarding is now simpler than ever before, letting clients and subcontractors get started in literally 1-2 minutes.

We’ve made various minor visual improvements, fixed a bug causing task details to unexpectedly clear, and improvements to the mobile experience.
