How to invite team members

Learn how to invite up to 15 team members to your Chik workspace. Collaborate on tasks, share notes, and track time together without paying expensive per-seat fees.

Need to collaborate with other freelancers or your internal agency staff? Inviting Team Members to your Chik workspace allows you to work together seamlessly. Unlike Partners (who only see your polished Showcase Mode), Team Members work alongside you in the trenches.

(Note: You must be subscribed to the Chik+ Team plan to use this feature).

Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Open your settings: Look to the bottom left corner of your dashboard and click Settings.
  2. Navigate to your Team: Click on Account, and then select Team.
  3. Send the invite: Enter your team member's email address and click send. They will receive an email with a unique link to join your workspace.

What can Team Members do?

We built Chik to protect your business privacy while enabling collaboration. When a team member joins your workspace, they have specific, restricted access:

Team Members CAN:

  • Access all task management features across your projects.
  • Track their billable hours to any already existing time projects.
  • Access the Notes editor to write private drafts or share documents with the rest of the team.

Team Members CANNOT:

  • View or edit any of your billing details.
  • View, draft, or sign legally binding Contracts.
  • Create brand-new time tracking projects.

Pricing and Limits

We hate surprise per-user fees just as much as you do. As long as you are on the Chik+ Team plan, you can invite up to 15 total team members at absolutely no extra cost!
