How to hide internal tasks from your client
In Chik, all tasks are private by default. Clients only see tasks that are explicitly assigned to them — so your internal work is always hidden.

There's no privacy toggle to hunt for in Chik — task visibility works automatically. By default, every task is private and only visible to you and your team members. A client (Partner) can only see a task once you explicitly assign it to them.
How task visibility works
- Unassigned tasks: Visible to you and your team members only. Your client will never see these, even if they're logged in.
- Tasks assigned to a client: Visible to that specific client in their Partner Mode dashboard. They can view details, leave comments, and upload files.
Keeping work-in-progress private
This means your workflow is naturally protected. You can create tasks, write internal notes within them, and iterate freely — and only share them with your client when they're ready. Simply assign the task to your client when you want them to see it.
Pro tip: If you want to move a task back to private, just remove the client from the assignment. It will disappear from their dashboard immediately.
