How to draft and send a contract
Learn how to create a contract in Chik, add your recipients, and send it for signature — all without leaving your workspace.

Creating and sending a legally binding contract in Chik takes just a few minutes. No separate tools, no back-and-forth with clunky PDFs — everything lives right inside your workspace.
How to create and send a contract
- Go to Contracts from your main dashboard navigation.
- Click New Contract and give it a clear name (e.g. "Website Project — Acme Corp").
- Write your contract using Chik's built-in editor. You can draft the terms directly, or paste in your existing contract template.
- Add recipients: Enter the email addresses of everyone who needs to sign. You can add up to five recipients for larger or more complex client arrangements.
- Click Send. Each recipient will receive a secure email with a unique link to review and sign.
What happens after you send it?
Chik handles the rest behind the scenes. You'll be notified when each recipient has signed, and the fully executed contract will be stored safely in your Contracts section for easy access.
