How a client accesses their dashboard

Learn how your client logs into their Chik dashboard after receiving an invitation, including what to expect during their quick onboarding.

Once you've sent a Partner invitation, here's exactly what your client needs to do to access their dashboard. It's worth sharing these steps with them directly to make sure onboarding goes smoothly.

Step-by-step: How your client logs in

  1. They receive an invitation email with a secure, unique link from Chik.
  2. They click the link and are taken to the Chik sign-up page.
  3. They create a free Chik account using the exact same email address where they received the invitation. This is important — a different email won't connect them to your workspace.
  4. During onboarding, Chik will ask whether they are a "Partner" or a "Professional." They should select Partner. This puts them straight into the clean, simplified client view.
  5. They're in. Their dashboard shows the tasks you've assigned to them and nothing else.

What if they already have a Chik account?

No problem — they can simply log in with their existing account. As long as it's the same email address the invitation was sent to, they'll automatically be connected to your workspace as a Partner.

Note: Creating a Chik account is always free for clients. They will never be asked to pay.
